A collaborative initiative involving the Kilifi Department of Health, Hellen Keller International, and UNICEF is currently in progress, conducting a 3-day Maternal, Infant, and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) Baseline Knowledge, Attitudes, Beliefs and Practices (KABP) assessment in Kilifi County.
The primary objective of this assessment is to assess MIYCN indicators and determine the factors that influence nutritional status, in order to provide valuable information for policy-making and program development.
Key activities of the survey include training, data collection, analysis, and report writing, all of which are essential components that will yield crucial insights for making informed decisions and shaping departmental programs.
