The Department of Health, in collaboration with USAID Stawisha Pwani and various health partners, is presently reassessing the co-created workplan for HIV/AIDS.
The USAID Stawisha Pwani project is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the utilization of high-quality county-led services in Kilifi County through the reinforcement of county health systems, particularly focusing on HIV prevention and treatment, family planning, reproductive, maternal, adolescent health, and nutrition.
Entering into the third year of the five-year project, scheduled to conclude on September 30, efforts are underway to develop a co-created workplan for the fourth year, commencing on October 1, 2024. This collaborative endeavor seeks to align strategies, optimize resource allocation, and fortify county health systems in order to improve the quality and utilization of health services in Kilifi County. Ultimately, this partnership aims to facilitate more efficient and sustainable healthcare interventions.
