The main purpose of the Community Health Services Act is to ensure the advancement of community-based primary healthcare services and also facilitate the provision of monthly allowances and NHIF medical coverage for Community Health Promoters (CHPs).

On the other hand, the Sexual and Gender-Based Act aims to establish measures for raising awareness, preventing, and responding to instances of sexual and gender-based violence.
