The Kilifi County Department of Health, in collaboration with key stakeholders involved in the successful implementation of this initiative, convened to analyze and consolidate data and information essential for future planning. The stakeholders included national and county administrators, media representatives, youth, women, men, special groups, implementing partners, malaria youth corps, interfaith leaders, among others. Discussions focused on registered households, strengths, challenges, distribution of annual malaria cases, innovative interventions, and best practices observed during the registration and distribution phases.

Kilifi County is recognized as one of the top two counties in the nation for its comprehensive coverage rates in net distribution.

Despite the progress made, malaria continues to pose a threat to our society. Such activities and partnerships play a crucial role in enhancing health outcomes within our communities.
