Key Actions and Recommendations
- Establishing a Steering Committee to provide strategic direction, oversight, and coordination of the partnership initiatives, ensuring alignment with county priorities, goals, and objectives.
- Broadening the scope of strategic partners to include Savings and Credit
- Cooperatives (SACCOs), Banks, and other relevant stakeholders to leverage additional resources, expertise, and support for the healthcare initiatives and programs.
- Incorporating the Health Products and Technology (HPT) thematic group
- Health IT representative (TUMU) committing to digitize one of the Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to enhance data management, information sharing, decision-making, and service delivery, leveraging technology and innovation.
- Ensuring the timely distribution of meeting minutes, presentations, and relevant documents before the meetings to facilitate preparation, review, and active participation of members, enhancing transparency, communication, and engagement.
- Integrating slides and data from performance reviews, such as Anemia prevalence rates in the county, into thematic group discussions to inform planning, decision-making, priority setting, and resource allocation.
- Share the plans and budgets for operationalizing the PCNs.
