Ensuring patient safety and satisfaction, achieving positive health outcomes, reducing costs, and complying with regulations are all essential components of improving healthcare quality.
The USAID Misingi Imara (UMI) initiative, in collaboration with the Kilifi Department of Health, is set to kick off these efforts with an engagement meeting focused on Quality Assurance (QA) processes and structures. The goal is to establish a training plan for QA/QI (Quality Improvement) and implement supervision interventions to elevate the quality of services provided.
This meeting is geared towards members of the County Health Management Team (CHMT), program officers, and focal persons. Jhpiego, as part of Sub-Purpose 2 of the initiative, is supporting the county in conducting QA/QI activities and offering assistance at the national level.
