Over 1000 (1237) residents of Madzimbani Village in Mariakani benefited from health services offered through an integrated medical camp organised by the Department of Health, in conjunction with the Kenya Ports Authority.
The medical outreach camp was held Madzimbani Secondary School Grounds. This marks the first multidisciplinary team clinic conducting an outreach for the Kaloleni Primary Care Network, aimed at enhancing the delivery of primary health services to the community.
“ We are committed to bringing services directly to the community, rather than having community members travel long distances to access them” said Hon Peter Mwarogo CECM Health and Sanitation Services, Kilifi County. While inaugurating the camp, Hon Mwarogo was acompanied by Ms Martha Koki, MCA Mariakani Ward.
This initiative aligns with His Excellency Hon. Gideon M. Mungaro’s manifesto to prioritize the health and wellbeing of Kilifi residents. Together, we will achieve this through improved delivery of primary healthcare services in the county.
