The Kilifi County Department of Health, in collaboration with the National Ministry of Health (Division of Community Health Services), has coordinated a three-day training session for 135 Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), Community Health Officials CHOs, Community Health Assistants (CHAs), and select Public Health Officers (PHOs) on the Community Health Strategy.
This training is crucial for the successful implementation of community health strategies, ultimately leading to enhanced health outcomes, strengthened health systems, improved data collection, reduced health disparities, and empowered communities.
