The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the National Malaria Control Programme and the Kilifi Department of Health in Kilifi County, is convening a one-day meeting to enhance data quality related to the management of malaria. This meeting will focus on the implementation of data quality action plans, which have been developed following routine data quality assessments and verifications in health facilities within Kilifi County.
The primary objective of this meeting is to address issues pertaining to mosquito nets and malaria treatment across the various sub-counties. It aims to ensure that all individuals presenting with suspected malaria at health facilities are accurately documented, and that those diagnosed with malaria receive appropriate treatment. Furthermore, efforts will be made to ensure equitable distribution of mosquito nets to prevent malaria transmission.
