Thanks to the support from the Australian Aid through the Fred Hollows Foundation, 1319 cataract eye surgeries were done last year in our public hospitals in an effort to eliminate avoidable blindness in Kilifi County.

Also present at the handover was Program Officer Bessy Mwebia, Kilifi County Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Eddy Nzomo, Kilifi North MOH Dr. Benard Karani and Program Driver Steven Egesa.
